Ajmer is located on the National Highway No.8 and is about 130 km away from Jaipur. Ajmer has a population of around 7.5 lacs. The landmark of Ajmer is "Dargah Khwaja Sahib" one of the holiest Muslim shrines in the country and abroad and is revered by all the sects. On an average 1.25 lac pilgrims visit the shrine daily. The famous Pushkar temple which is being visited by devotees world over is also close to Ajmer i.e. about 15 kilometers. The site is located on the proposed 6 lane Expressway between Kishan Garh and Ajmer Collectorate. The nearest landmark is Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University which is just 3 kilometers from the site. The famous Mayo College, Ajmer is also close to the site. The locational advantage of the site is that it is on the proposed 6 lane expressway. On an average around 7000 vehicles including the tourist buses daily passes through the highway out of which about 2000 are cars going to the city as well as of the visitors to Dargah.
